We rescue ponies and horses facing neglect, abandonment, or the end of their working life. Whether elderly, disabled, or simply unwanted, each one finds lifelong refuge here at Parkgate.
Through talks, school visits, and hands-on experiences, we teach equine care, stable skills, and compassion. Our ponies also visit care homes, offering therapy and comfort
Once a pony joins our sanctuary, it’s part of the family. We never sell or trade animals. Rehoming is rare and only ever to trusted, monitored environments.
Our sanctuary is run entirely on public kindness — from generous donors to hands-on volunteers. Every helping hand and heart makes a real difference to our ponies’ lives.
