Help Feed Our Horses and Ponies This Winter
A bag of feed can make a real difference.
Winter is our hardest time of year at Parkgate Pony Sanctuary, and we need your help to keep our rescued horses and ponies healthy, comfortable and well fed throughout the colder months.
We care for animals across three locations in Neston, Parkgate and our main respite yard at Highfield Stables, Davenport Road, Lower Heswall.
This year has been particularly challenging. We have welcomed more rescued horses and ponies, poor weather has affected our fields, and we have relied on hay throughout the summer when our animals would usually be grazing. Several have also needed urgent veterinary care.
As winter approaches and grazing reduces further, we need more feed. Many of our animals are older, have medical needs or have experienced difficult starts in life. Good nutrition is an essential part of their care.
How you can help
You can buy feed directly from our local supplier, Manor Farm, Feed and Bedding in Frankby, Wirral, who will deliver your donation straight to the sanctuary.
Whether you can help with one bag or contribute more regularly, every donation is appreciated.
