Parkgate Pony Sanctuary

Volunteer information

Everyone who works for Parkgate Pony Sanctuary is a volunteer. We have no paid staff. All our funding comes from public donations.

The Sanctuary volunteers are responsible for the day to day care and welfare of over 35 horses and ponies at 3 sites:

Highfield Stables, Davenport Road, Lower Heswall, where any horses requiring regular special care or training are kept.

Parkgate fields, Boathouse Lane, Parkgate.

Neston fields, Raby Park Road, Neston.

Highfield Stables has facilities for making drinks, a toilet and secure storage.

Parkgate & Neston fields have no facilities.
